Law Enforcement Association of Pinal County
Speaking for those that serve Pinal County...
The Law Enforcement Association of Pinal County (LEAPC) is an association that represents the employees of the Pinal County Sherriff’s Office.
Through the combined effort and strengths of the Arizona Police Association (APA) our organization, LEAPC is able to provide, at a very low cost, a large, amplified, law enforcement “voice” within our community. The main function of this “voice” is to effectively communicate with and lobby the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) and the County Board of Supervisors as well as the state legislature, our federal representatives, and when needed, local city and town councils. This communication and lobbying is focused upon the issues affecting Pinal County Deputies, Detention, and professional employees. Whether these issues concern retirement benefits, adequate pay, adequate equipment, due process rights, effective law enforcement legislation, or the ability of PCSO Deputies/employees to be treated fairly.
We are an organization of PCSO employees helping PCSO employees with the support of the Arizona Police Association.
“The primary objective and purpose of the Law Enforcement Association of Pinal County and the Arizona Police Association is to protect the interest of Arizona Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers in all political venues regarding employee rights, wages, and working conditions.
Providing a voice and support
FOR members of pinal county law enforcement and their families
Membership has its priviledges
The primary mission of the Law Enforcement Association of Pinal County (LEAPC) is to represent and protect Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and professional staff. We offer the most experienced law firm in Arizona to represent you in administrative investigations. Our criminal/civil legal coverage is provided through the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), the proven coverage of law enforcement across the county.
You face many risks while protecting the community, you don’t have to face them alone!
A Memorial to pay tribute...
Anyone who has the opportunity to visit the Jason Lopez Memorial in the town of Florence should stop by a profound memorial that honors the men and women of law enforcement who have given their lives in the line of duty.
The Jason Lopez Memorial is a beautiful tribute that contains a plaque with the names of fallen officers.
Jason Lopez passed away on May 4, 2001 at the age of 26. He leaves behind a loving family and many friends who will miss him. And for those of us in the law enforcement community, we extend our thanks to Jason for his service, and for being such a vital part of a memorial that honors those who paid the ultimate price to make our community safer.
I hope you will stop by the Jason Lopez Memorial and offer some thoughts of gratitude for Jason Lopez and all those whose legacy and sacrifice are commemorated there.
